Combinable y muy elegante. El trench – también llamado gabardina – es una de esas prendas que todo hombre debería tener. Fue Thomas Burberry quien en 1880 patentó el tejido impermeable,  por el que luego se dio a conocer esta prenda. Icónica y emblemática, la gabardina ha sido parte de los uniformes militares británicos. Del mismo modo, ha formado parte de la iconografía cinematográfica gracias a personajes como Alain Delloin, o el siemrpe sofisticado Steve McQueen. Eso por no hablar de Humphrey Bogart en el papel de Rick Blaine, o Peter Sellers como el Inspector Closeau. Aunque la televisión, también ha ayudado en gran medida a potenciar la fama de esta prenda. Y si no que se lo digan al detective 'Colombo', quien aparte de nunca apagar el cigarrillo (o el puro), era muy difícil verle despojado de su querida gabardina.
