The Japanese designer Issey Miyake has been different and special since always. He has made a difference in all of his works, in fact if something characterized is exceptionally work is the combination of design with technology - for example- . In other words, he is a forerunner not only fashionable speaking, also with his beauty and perfumery lines, aside other creative jobs.
In 1994 launched to the market his first male fragrance, L'Eau d'Issey pour Homme, which we could say has become a classic already.
Now - ten years later - Miyake has returned to perfumery world to surprise us again, with a fresh and sporty version of his mythical fragrance. L'Eau d'Issey pour Homme Sport is a perfume inspired by the relationship between the men and the nature, through the practice of sports such as surfing or climbing.

Celebrating the release of the new perfume, the firm invited to a group of bloggers to discover the perfume in a relaxing way. We enjoyed a lot in one of the most exclusive spas and surely the highest in Madrid at Eurostars Hotel. It was an amazing and so relaxing experience because as you can see in the pictures the views are incredible. After one short hour - in that magnificent urban paradise the time flies - we took a shower and tried for the first time the complete Miyake's new sport line.

After the Spa, Sonsóles Blanco - a lovely marketing director - gave us a really interesting talk, in which she explained with all kind of the details, the creative process of this new and evocative perfume. Bergamot, grapefruit, nutmeg, vetiver and cedar roots are some of the main ingredients that you will find in this fresh, vigorous and forceful eau de toilette.
To understand better the philosophy of this genius, I leave you with some Miyake's quotes:
"Design is not for philosophy, it's for life"
"Even when I work with computers, with high technology, I always try to put in the touch of the hand"
"Many people will say, well, clothes should be worn; but I think people can look at them in public, like seeing a film. I think museum exhibitions are very important"
Finally I would like to share with you a few outfits from the last Fall/Winter 2012-13 collection, which matches perfectly with the spirit and colour combination of the new perfume.
