LOEWE joins the “Journées Paticulières”

A few weeks ago Loewe invited to a reduced group of bloggers to meet Stuart Vevers – creative director at this masion of Spanish tradition, which as you already know I'm a big fan – in person, the motive was the presentation of a pretty nice book named 'Masters of Leather', you can read more info about it here in this article I wrote for 'Trendencias Hombre'.

Anyway was really great, He is so natural, kind, a very smiling person, besides very 'normal', I mean He doesn’t feel like a 'divo'  like other designers, it is not necessary name them, you know what I'm talking about...

After the meeting and chat with Stuart – He answered all of our questions, I couldn't miss the opportunity to took a picture with him – we watched a demonstration in which an artesian made an Amazona (one of the most iconic bags of the brand ) alive for all of us. It was a very nice experience. After show we attended a party at Loewe flagship store in Madrid.

Now this weekend (15 and 16 October) Loewe is the only one firm of the LVHM group which is joining the 'Journées Paticulières', an unique opportunity to know a bit more the legacy and archive of the house. Gran Vía shop will be open to everybody to take a look in the amazing bags and accessories, and also a craftsman will make a bag like in the 'Masters of leather' event...

The Gran Vía 8 store opened in 1939 is the most emblematic and legendary of the masion, so you cant miss this event, if you're reading this, you're invited already. The picture below is a vintage suitcase, is only one example about what you will see at Loewe “Journées Paticulières”, a very good appointment for this weekend, you can not miss it.
