From 16 to 20 September has been celebrated the 59 edition of the Cibeles Madrid Fashion Week. And We know perfectly, at least I do, the Spanish menswear is not the best fashion lighthouse - comparing always with other fashion weeks and international catwalks - but even then, We have to be proud of our designers and brands. My four favourites trends and collections are the following:
Roberto Verino - Traveller Chic -
Tailoring outfits with a safari touch, for a traveller men but very chic. Printed scarves, shirts open up, knit jerseys...shiny black and off white two plain colours perfect for the next summer.
Francis Montesinos - Spanish Olé! -
The designer make a tribute to himself with his very bests hits, like the bullfighter pullover, the skirts or the printed and transparency shirts in outfits very Spanish and Olé!
María Escoté - Romantic & Bucolic -
Outfits very romantic with pleated shirts, oversize and chunky knit sweaters, denim look jacket with fringes and hair, skinny trousers ands of course leather moccasins.
Matín Lamothe - Tribal Inspiration -
African prints and patterns in regular fit suits, sometimes a bit oversized. Tribal prints in light and soft shits mixed with loose and wide trousers.

Cool selection! Thanks for this reportage. Unfortunately the Spanish Fashion Week is not so promoted abroad as it needed. This year there were so many important models....maybe something is changing! ;) I appreciate the Francis Montesinos newspaper shirt! ;)))
