|María Escoté S-S 2012|
The frac jacket is an iconic garment of the menswear wardrobe, traditionally is the most elegant outfit to wear in formal events during the evening in a similar way than the tuxedo but, for sure, in a more classical and formal way. Although nowadays jack jackets are kind of old-fashioned, pay attention because are coming back... At Last edition of Cibeles Madrid Fashion Spring-Summer 2012, the designer María Escoté closed her show with a very special couple, the bride and the groom dressed in two lovely and modern outfits. The groom was wearing an amazing white frac jacket in such unusual outfit for a weeding. Another modern interpretation of this piece came out from the Japanese Mihara Yashurio, who created a new version of this classic garment. These two runway looks has remind me the bellow picture, where I was wearing a vintage frac jacket and a white shirt with black flowers and a soft scarf. You should try to create your own outfit with this lovely and classy garment, adapting its innate elegance in more street style looks.
